We had an excellent turn out form the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who took part in the Remembrance Sunday parade and service in Richmond earlier this month – well done to everyone from the group who attended, and it was very nice to see so many people from around Richmond at the service.
Following our Summer break, our first section meetings of the new term will be – for Cubs on Tuesday 11 Sept; for Beavers on Wednesday 12 Sept; and for Scouts on Friday 14 Sept. All at the usual times.
Our 2018 start dates are:
Cubs, Tuesday 9 January;
Beavers, Wednesday 10 January;
Scouts, Friday 12 January.
The Group is now on holiday until September. Scouts are back on Friday 8 September, Cubs on Tuesday 12 September and Beavers on Wednesday 13 September. Have a great summer break.

Well, it’s that time of year again – and our Group Family Camp is well underway at Walton Firs this weekend.
Just a reminder that our Group Family Camp takes place this year on the weekend of 14/15/16 July – starting at approximately 18:00 on Friday, 14 July. Mark the date in your diary.
Just a reminder that Cubs start back on Tuesday 6 September; Beavers on Wednesday 7 September and Scouts on Friday 9 September. See you then.
Please note that our Scouts’ Meeting this week has been moved from Friday, 15 April, to Thursday, 14 April. This is because of the Cubs’ Camp this weekend.
Unfortunately, due to Leader illness, we are having to cancel our Scouts’ Meeting tomorrow evening, 11 March, AND our Scouts’ Bowling outing on Sunday 13 March. We hope that normal service will be resumed next week – but please watch this space!!
