Unfortunately, due to Leader illness, we are having to cancel our Scouts’ Meeting tomorrow evening, 11 March, AND our Scouts’ Bowling outing on Sunday 13 March. We hope that normal service will be resumed next week – but please watch this space!!

We are shortly going to be breaking up for the holidays.

The last Scouts’ Meeting is this coming Friday, 11 December. The first 2016 meeting is on 8 January.

Cubs have their last meeting next Tuesday, 15 December. The first 2016 meeting is on 12 January.

Beavers’ last meeting is on Wednesday, 16 December – with the first 2016 meeting being on 13 January.

Events for our Scouts’ Group for the following few weeks now appear under the “Scouts Programme” sidebar on this web-page.

Just a reminder that we start back this coming week. Cubs are back on Tuesday 8 September; Beavers back on 9 September and Scouts on 11 September.

Cubs meet tonight (Tuesday) at 18:30; Beavers tomorrow (Wednesday) at 18:00; and Scouts on Thursday (n.b. NOT Friday this week because of the Thames Young Mariners’ weekend) at 19:00.

Don’t forget that we have no Scouts/Cubs/Beavers meetings this week because of half-term.

Don’t forget that the Group Family Camp takes place on the weekend of 19/21 June.

There is still availability. In fact, we NEED another 4 or 5 families to make the Camp economic.

I’ve circulated, by email, a letter that Chief has previously sent out regarding the Camp. So, please check your inbox. If you are interested in joining us on 19/21 June, and haven’t yet said that you are coming to the Camp, please let Chief know as soon as possible; or email me and I will pass your email on to Chief.

The May Fair is taking place on Saturday 9 May. We are still looking for help on the Group stalls. Please see the email that has been circulated, and drop us an email (address below) if you can help.

Scouts will meet this week on THURSDAY 7 MAY – not on the usual Friday as Chief will be busy that day getting organised for the Fair.
