This week the Cubs are taking part in the National Scouting campaign ‘Care for Care Homes’. Cubs and Scouts have been asked to collectively carry out 10,000 acts of kindness to help residents in their local care home, become kindness champions and show that they ‘care for care homes’.
At North Richmond we will be joining the Richmond Council #LoveThroughTheLetterbox initiative and our Cubs will write or draw positive messages in letters that will be delivered to care homes across the borough. There are 48 care homes in the borough and the Council supports over 600 older residents.
